On the 20th August, Norwegian trio, Highasakite (a bit of a mouthful, I know ) will make their UK debut with their single ‘Indian Summer.’

The track’s a blissful, sun tinged lovely thing bursting with childhood naiveté and nostalgia of playing outside no matter what the weather whilst the chorus possesses sinister undertones with ”I will run like an indian tomorrow”  reminding us that running away from tricky situations is what we do best.

Production is shrill and sharp, whilst the whole thing is carried by some wonderful percussion (I have an absolute soft spot for any form of percussion instrument).  I look forward to hearing more from Highasakite soon.

‘Indian Summer’ is released on the 20th August via Riot Factory.
