We’re lucky enough to be heading to Lovebox Festival next Friday (15th June) for a Lovebox ten year anniversary special (or ‘A Decade of Love’ as they like to call it). Here are a few acts who we’re planning on catching:
Hot Chip
Having never caught live ever (how this has even happened, I don’t know), this Hot Chip show should hopefully be a special one. With their fifth album due out next week ( In Our Heads), it would be great to be one of the first to hear it live.
Crystal Castles
Toronto electronic duo have been hidden away working on their forthcoming third album for the past few months. This will be their first UK show of the year so I’m sure they’ll showcase what they’ve been working on. Pretty exciting stuff!
Disclosure
If you’re a regular vistor to the site, then you’ll know how much love we have for Disclosure, having included them in radio shows, mixtapes, playlists and various other features over the past year. I’ve only managed to catch them live once so far but I remember having an excellent time. I’m looking forward to catching the boys live again, especially just after the release of their Greco-Roman released EP, Face.
Lapalux & Dauwd
I’ve caught both acts doing live sets before, I’m looking forward to seeing what they’ll play when they do a Back 2 Back DJ set courtesy of Pictures Music (their label) Presents.
