Py made us a playlist of some of her favourite songs and we made it into a little mixtape for you all to listen to. She’s also been kind enough to give us a brief explanation of why she chose each song. Here’s what she said:

 

‘Lean Over’ – Slime

Mmmmm this gets me every time. I listen to this when I wake up. I wish everyday felt like this song.
‘Whatta Man’ - Salt n Peppa & En Vogue
‘His voice got bass.’ This makes me so happy. I room dance on my own to this.
‘Zoner’ - Jesse Boykins 111 
It makes me get that uneasy addictive mixture of happy/sad feeling.
‘Watching You’ - Instra:mental 
This make me cry; it makes me feel in love.
‘Dreams’ - Fleetwood Mac 
It’s nostalgic and reminds me of my mum.
‘I Want You’ – Bob Dylan
This has always been my favourite. It reminds me of all my memories. 
‘Nothing Even Matters’ – Lauryn Hill & D’Angelo 
Ahhhmazing vocals, a collaboration full of talent. 

‘Righteous Sounds’ feat. Omar – Zombie Disco Squad
I am sure I piss my neighbours off with the amount I play it. It never fails to please my ears. Omar’s voice is perfection and I can’t help but wriggle when this one’s on.

‘Party’ - Beyoncé ft. André 3000

I like this one really loud. Beyoncé’s voice army in my ears.
