I hadn’t came across anything quite so catchy/cheesy/blatantly pop gold in a while until I found this video via Neon Gold. It’s the début video from an unsigned band called Walk the Moon for their single, Anna Sun. This band are what Scouting for Girls would sound like if they were actually cool and the lead singer was beautiful, American and thinner (NB. this is not to say that I endorse eating disorders, dislike chunky people or people that haven’t been blessed with good looks). I just hope that they get signed before summer time so that Anna Sun can become many people’s ‘song of the summer’ because it clearly has the potential to be mine as it successfully encapsulates a care free summer day/night. This video pretty much defines fun; Walk the Moon are ‘fun’ band if ever there was one. I certainly wish I was at their house party having so much fun with paint, glitter and silly dance routines.
